-: LOCALIZATION OF AGRICULTURE :-

BAN ON FERTILIZER. ENCOURAGEMENT TO ORGANIC AGRICULTURE WITH GOBAR, GAU MUTRA, ETC.

By giving encouragement to chemical fertilizers since last 50 years, Government has ruined our agriculture. Now we have enough experience that chemical fertilizers are harmful in the long range and it destroys the fertility of land. So, in spite of consuming more fertilizers, yield per acre decreases. It has been now proved that our indigenous organic manure is the best. So it should be the policy not to encourage chemical fertilizers at all and to give all possible encouragement to organic manure's. As per the latest research, almost 30kg. of organic manure of the equivalent quality of Gobar can be produced from 1 kg. of Gobar. So if entire rural population can be engaged in free season to produce organic manure's, crores of tonnes of organic manure's can be produced and entire agricultural land can be made full of organic manure so that land fertility can increase considerably and yield per acre can go up highest in the world. Such a huge possibility is there in our country. But it is not utilized. To utilize this possibility, the production and consumption of chemical fertilizers must be banned. The system of making 30kg. of organic manure from 1 kg. of Gobar must be made the subject of propaganda at every village and thus crores of tonnes of organic manure making should be planned systematically.

BAN ON PESTICIDES. ENCOURAGEMENT TO MAKE NATURAL INSECTICIDES AND PESTICIDES BY FARMERS THEMSELVES.

The chemical pesticides have done unimaginable damage to our agriculture. At present, farmers spend almost 20000 crores of Rupees for chemical pesticides & fertilizers. So farmers are ruined and many farmers have to commit suicide. Chemical pesticides spoil the land and decrease the yield in long range. The vegetables and fruits containing pesticides are responsible to create diseases like cancer. So people have to incur lot of expenses for medicines and doctors. This way, farmers and people of India have been trapped into this poisonous vicious circle. Aazadi Bachao Andolan desires to break this poisonous vicious circle by adopting localization of agriculture. This is not hard at all. It is easy to produce domestically natural pesticides from various herbs and shrubs and trees at almost no cost. Enough propaganda of making such natural pesticides is necessary. Farmers can save themselves from the heavy exploitation of pesticides business by making natural pesticides by themselves. Farmers can save their land from spoiling and farmers can save the entire population from the cancer which is generated by eating vegetables, fruits, pulses and grain containing pesticides.

POLICY OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND RESPECT FOR VILLAGES TECHNICIANS BLACK SMITHS, CARPENTERS, COBBLERS, POT MAKERS.

Gram Sabha will have legislative powers to make any type of law for development of the village. So village will undertake the works of innovating the technology and development of small machines for carpenters, black smiths, cobblers, pot makers etc. so that their labour and drudgery will decrease, their production work will become easier and all these occupations will get enough reputation.

PROTECTION AND REPRODUCTION OF NATURAL SEEDS IN TRADITIONAL AGRICULTURE.

In the name of old and out dated agriculture, we have vested our precious seeds. Still some seeds are still saved in remote villages. These seeds should be saved in original form and it should not be spoiled by hybridization. Traditional agriculture should be encouraged and seeds should be protected. Our traditional seeds have very high resistence power of fighting against disease. These seeds do not spoil for a long period of time. This is very big virtue of our seeds. This virtue is spoiled by hybridization. So Old is Gold and so worth protecting. There should be some provision at Taluka level to produce traditional seeds and to distribute to farmers.
